Katie Ko is a Melbourne-based Registered Music Therapist working in music therapy across Australia, supporting individuals of all ages through compassionate and collaborative therapeutic care.

With more than 10 years of combined clinical and non-clinical experience, Katie has worked across healthcare, community, and aged care settings, supporting individuals through music therapy for emotional wellbeing, personal growth, and connection.

Her experience includes working with children, adolescents, and older adults, including individuals receiving support in aged care and dementia services.

Katie’s work focuses on using music as a tool to create a safe space for individuals to explore and strengthen their identity and emotional expression.

Music therapy sessions may include songwriting, improvisation, listening to music, and creative musical engagement that helps individuals explore their emotions and develop meaningful ways to express themselves.
