Why Clinical Supervision?
Clinical supervision provides music therapists with a structured space to reflect on their clinical work, strengthen therapeutic practice, and maintain professional wellbeing.
At Concordia Music Therapy, clinical supervision supports Registered Music Therapists (RMTs) or Creative Arts Therapists working across diverse clinical settings, including hospitals, community health services, NDIS and private practice, and mainstream schools.
Supervision sessions are tailored to meet the needs of the clinician, and focus on reflective practice, ethical decision-making, and professional growth.
We acknowledge we are often the sole RMT or Arts Therapist at our place of work, which can often leave us feeling misunderstood, isolated and exhausted.
We are especially passionate about preventing burnout and supporting RMTs and Creative Arts Therapists to foster:
Confidence in clinical decision-making
Ability to effectively prioritise caseloads and referrals
Professional skills (including professional language and communication)
Advocacy skills
Professional identity
Self-care & boundaries
Reflexive practice

For therapists who are seeking to go deeper, clinical supervision at Concordia Music Therapy can also support supports all therapists in any clinical setting, specialising for therapists working with:

• Linguistically diverse communities
